This small art museum is a creation of an exquisite taste and the passion for art of only one man – Mr. Aarnout Helb. Dutchman, citizen of Amsterdam and lawyer by education, started to collect contemporary Saudi art as a hobby and in 2009 moment decided to show his favourite art pieces to the public.Located in a close proximity of Leidseplein, this museum is called Greenbox (as it has green walls and green is the color of the Saudi Arabia National flag) and it exhibits 23 remarkable pieces by contemporary artists from Saudi Arabia: Ahmed Mater, Abdulnasser Gharem, Maha Malluh, Reem Al-Faisal, Lulwah Al-Homoud and Ayman Yossri Daydban.

Walking 2 minutes from the Leidseplein: walk back along Leidsestraat and take second small street left. White office building on the left called Studio Korte Leidse houses the museum.

If you arrive by car, we recommend leaving it at the Byzantium car park (Stadhouderskade12, 1054 ES Amsterdam).
