This small hotel feels really uninspiring in its architecture, as well as in its interior. Looking at its outmoded furniture you may think of staying in Amsterdam of the past - fifty or more years ago. But good service is never out of time, and Owl Hotel offers it at low cost. So if you travel on a small budget, alone or with the family, this is your place to be.Owl Hotel is located near the Vondelpark and Amsterdam main museums, with several tram and bus line at hand including good tram connection with the Central Station (lines 1, 2 and 5). Its direct neighborhood is residential – peaceful and silent. Some of the hotel’s rooms, especially single are very small, but beds are good and all rooms as well as their bathrooms are immaculately clean. Very good breakfast is included in the already low hotel rates. Owl Hotel has a small bar where you may have just a soda or tea, and a patio terrace – very nice in summer. No restaurant, but there are plenty of good ones in the area. Inside the hotel is quiet, if not for other guests – you may sometimes hear your neighbours stepping out or loudly talking.
Children up to 3 stay for free in the room of their parents. Owl Hotel has also two triple rooms and one quadruple room. An extra bed is only € 20,-; a baby cot is free. All rooms at Owl Hotel are non-smoking, but obviously not every guest holds to this rule, so there might be some nicotine smell in your room.Hotel has a lift. Internet at Owl Hotel is free. And sorry, despite the name - pets are not allowed. The Owl Hotel is known for its friendly, welcoming and tolerant service.
